Vicky
Principal and Teacher
"I'm Vicky- Principal and teacher at Just 4 Kids Performing Arts. As a child, I was always keen on performing- singing, dancing and acting wherever I could. I attended a local dance school and was also a student at Stagecoach Theatre Arts until I turned 18 and then gained a BTec National Diploma in Performing Arts.
In 2004, I was employed as the Children's Activities Manager, running the children's activities and birthday parties within the caves at Kents Cavern in Torquay, and then set up Just 4 Kids Parties in 2006.
At the end of 2006, I travelled to Los Angeles and worked for both Silly Sally's Entertainment and Giggles and Hugs, running children's entertainment for 2 years.
On returning to Devon, I continued running the children's parties and also worked as a performing arts teacher at Stagecoach Theatre Arts from 2008-2017.
I studied a Foundation Degree in Performance Arts and Events Management in 2010 and then in 2015, I moved to Cornwall to complete the 3rd year of my degree in Creative Events Management, eventually qualifying as a primary school teacher in 2017.
Alongside teaching, I still run Just 4 Kids Parties across Cornwall, performing and entertaining at local events and kids' parties.
My love for working with children and my passion for the performing arts is the reason I wanted to set up Just 4 Kids Performing Arts in Truro and I am so excited to bring this joy to everyone! I can't wait for your children to join our classes and holiday workshops. They really will develop skills for life such as confidence, team work, problem solving and so much more."

Fun facts: Vicky collects Disney DVDs: she now has 44 of the Disney Classics in my collection. She loves Belle from Beauty and the Beast and has even played her on stage twice in amateur productions of the musical in 1998 and 2010.
Ali
Class Assistant

"Hello! My name is Ali. I am a trained Early Years primary school teacher, here in Cornwall.
​
I have known Vicky for many years and work as an entertainer for her company Just 4 Kids Parties, performing as various characters including Spiderman and Superman to host children's birthday parties.
​
I have written and illustrated my own children's books and enjoy using stories and puppets to engage children. I am also a singer and dancer - music is a passion of mine.
I love helping out within the classes to cover Jen or Vicky and look forward to meeting you little ones."

Fun facts: Ali was voted Cornwall's Biggest Doctor Who fan and his favourite Disney character is Woody from Toy Story!

Jen
Administration and Class Support
​
"Hi I’m Jen - administration assistant and class support for Just 4 Kids Performing Arts. I grew up with a love for theatre and performing. I have fond memories of taking part in holiday workshops and shows when I was a child.
I continued my love of theatre right through school and chose to study performing arts at college. While at college, I fell in love with the behind the scenes aspect of theatre and was lucky enough to receive a scholarship for Guildford School of Acting to study Stage Management.
After I graduated, I worked as a freelance stage manager for years and was lucky enough to work for Miracle Theatre, Kneehigh Theatre, Minack Theatre and Hall for Cornwall.
Before starting our family, my husband Tom and I ran a Stagecoach Theatre Arts school where I did a similar role to this one and Vicky was one of our amazing teachers. I’m so excited to be working with her again on her new venture and helping to inspire a new generation of performers and maybe stage managers too!"

Fun Facts: Martin Clunes is Jen's Grandpa’s cousin’s son and she once had a walk on part in Doc Martin! As a student at drama school she had a one off job as seamstress for a very fancy party in London, apparently hosted by David Hasselhoff!
Tom
Workshop Singing Teacher

"Hello, I am Tom. I studied Musical Theatre Guildford and have been so lucky to have been an actor and singing teacher/musical director for over 20 years since, teaching at various theatre schools and colleges.
​
I was the Principal of Stagecoach Penzance from 2014-17, where I met Vicky (she was one of our teachers).
With a passion for all things musical theatre, I am very excited to be the singing teacher for the Just 4 Kids Performing Arts workshops."
Fun fact: Having a 5yr old and a 2yr old of my own means he definitely knows all of the words to 'Let It Go'! Tom also works as a photographer for headshots, events and weddings.
Ellie
Workshop Assistant

"I started working for Just 4 Kids Parties in the spring of 2023 as I was really interested in doing the princess character work. I’ve also had previous experience in working with children of all ages teaching dance and helping out at events.
I’m currently a dancer in my second year studying a professional dance and musical theatre degree as I love to perform on stage. I am trained in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical and contemporary dance styles and have had so many amazing opportunities to perform with various dance companies and in a variety of performances, both in Cornwall and nationally.
I can't wait to meet so many children and their families at the parties and events I do with Just 4 Kids!"
