Just 4 Kids Performing Arts offers part-time performing arts classes and holiday workshops in Truro for children aged 3-11 years of age.

Discover the joy of singing, dancing and acting at our new children's performing arts classes in Truro. After the success of our holiday workshops, Just 4 Kids Performing Arts is about to launch our new term time classes at the Redannick Theatre, Truro.

A fun, happy and encouraging place, where children will not only develop skills in the performing arts, but also:

Little Stars Class

For ages: 3-4 years
Classes: Tuesdays 1:45pm-2:30pm (term time)
Cost per session: £6 per child

Duration: 45 minutes

Our next 12 week term:

Tuesday 18th April- Tuesday 11th July (No class on Tues 30th May)

Our Little Stars performing arts class is suitable for children aged 3-4 years in nursery/preschool and is the perfect introduction to dance, drama and singing in a relaxed and safe environment. During each session, we use songs, stories, role play, movement and dance to let your child explore a world of imagination. 

These classes will not only improve numeracy, literacy and communication, but will spark your child's creativity in a fun and memorable way.

Note: Parents must stay for the duration of this class and are encouraged to join in to support your child during each activity. Unfortunately, the carpark at the hall is privately owned, so you cannot park your car on site for the duration of the class. However, there is free parking available omn Lemon Street close by.

Shining Stars Class

For ages: 4-7 years
Classes: Tuesdays 4pm-5pm (term time)
Cost per session: £8 per child

Duration: 1 hour

Our next 12 week term:

Tuesday 18th April- Tuesday 11th July (No class on Tues 30th May)

4PM-5PM

Our Shining Stars performing arts class is suitable for children in reception, years 1 and 2 (EYFS and KS1) and gives the children experience in singing, dancing and acting. Throughout the term, children will develop skills in performance, such as rhythm, timing, projection, role play, storytelling and improvisation. At the end of each term, the students will get to perform in front of an audience, demonstrating all of the skills they have learnt. 

Note: We ask that parents do not stay during these classes after signing your child in at the start of each class. TThere is limited parking at the Redannick Theatre. Some surrounding roads are permit only. However, there is free parking up the road on Redannick Lane and also on up the hill from Bosvigo School on Chapel Hill. The closest car park is Moorfield Carpark.

Please be prompt when collecting your child at the end of each session.

Rising Stars Class

For ages: 7-11 years
Classes: Thursdays 4pm-5:30pm (term time)
Cost per session: £10 per child

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Our next 12 week term:

Thursday 20th April- Thursday 12th July (No class on Thursday 1st June)

4pm-5:30pm

Our Rising Stars performing arts class is suitable for children in years 3-6 (KS2), where they get to really hone their skills in singing, dancing and acting. Within a term, students will learn lines from a script, full song lyrics and dance routines, with a performance in front of an audience at the end of the term. The children will be focusing on developing skills in performance such as tempo, vocal techniques, rhythm, expression,  projection, characterisation, role play and improvisation. 

Note: We ask that parents do not stay during these classes after signing your child in at the start of each class. There is limited parking at the Redannick Theatre. Some surrounding roads are permit only. However, there is free parking up the road on Redannick Lane and also on up the hill from Bosvigo School on Chapel Hill.
